Mailman's Attacker Sent to Federal Prison

It was October 19th 2024 when an Oklahoman man assaulted a US Postal service worker during his route. Kantrell Dawan Henderson, the man responsible, had the worker in a chokehold when a passerby pulled him off, allowing the mailman to escape. Officers rushed to the scene, located, and had a small confrontation with Henderson before arresting him.
Henderson was charged on August 6th 2025 and pleaded guilty on August 13th, admitting to the fact that he assaulted a federal employee. On November 25th, Henderson was officially sentenced to 18 months in prison, with a supervised release of 3 years following served time. Henderson has a history of criminal activity, including convictions for arson and possession of controlled substances.
